A personable companion to an award-winning design, and TypeTogether’s first Armenian Font.
The Adelle Sans font family — José Scaglione and Veronika Burian’s sans serif counterpart to the award-winning Adelle font family — provides a more clean and spirited take on the traditional grotesque sans. As is typical with TypeTogether typefaces, the most demanding editorial design problems were taken into consideration when creating Adelle Sans. The combination of lively character and unobtrusive appearance inherent to grotesque sans serifs make Adelle Sans an utterly versatile tool for every imaginable situation. Whether for branding, signage, or advertising, the keyword behind Adelle Sans’s use is flexibility.
We believe that broad language support is paramount and Adelle Sans Armenian is yet another push in our ongoing multilingual efforts. We expanded the family to a robust seven weights plus matching italics to serve Armenian readers well on the web, in print, and on screens and to fill the need for quality Armenian typefaces for editorial use.
Careful research and consultation with Armenian type expert Hrant Papazian yielded cultural and typographic consistency within both the Latin and Armenian scripts. And, as if that weren’t enough, we are working hard to add the serif variant as well.
Be sure to check out the companion font family, Adelle, for a versatile and authoritative slab serif with no shortage of personality.
