Christmas discount

2018 was another great year for TypeTogether! We published a few videos, we continued in our mission to educate others about type, and we released seven incredible new families: Protipo, Molto, Arlette Latin and Arlette Thai, Temeraire, Adelle Sans Devanagari, and just last month, Adelle Sans Thai. We have travelled, we’ve interviewed our type designers, our typefaces have been awarded worldwide, our custom font design roster continues to grow, and we have let you see it all on our blog. In November 2018 we unfortunately lost a dear friend and colleague, Gerard Unger, to whom we owe more than we could express. We are honoured to have worked closely with him over the past decade and will have much more to say about him soon.

We are more committed than ever to our mission of creating the highest quality fonts to solve the most difficult modern issues, and to sprinkle that knowledge and wonderment like celebratory confetti and fireworks during this holiday season. To share our joy for every good thing we’ve received this year, we are offering a 35% discount on any bundle or individual font in our catalogue from December 5–26. Please use the code 7c27750 at checkout. But don’t wait until the new year because this discount is only valid until December 26, 2018. Our small TypeTogether team wishes you the merriest holidays!

2019 Looking ahead

2019: Looking ahead

If 2018 was great, 2019 will be incredible! What’s on the docket? Glad you asked! A new ten-year update to the beloved Bree family, including Cyrillic, Greek, and the variable font format will hit the shelves right after the new year. Soleil will get a Black and Black Italic weight; Eskapade will get more weights; Ebony, Portada, and Adelle Sans will get more languages, and the first two will magically acquire variable font capabilities; and Lanka will be released. In addition to new type, we will continue our two series of team introductions and type anatomy for different scripts. We invite you along for the journey!

Alverata creates warm connections

Texture and colour is everything in tapestry. But what companion font pairs well with such a rich subject? For tapestry maker Jean Lurçat’s artworks, Patrick Bittner and Manuel Wesely chose Dr Gerard Unger’s Alverata for its warmth and ability to connect. Click the link to see it in action.
