Chaco: sneak peek

Rubén is a renowned Argentinian graphic designer, typeface designer, educator, and co-director with Zalma Jalluf of the Fontana Diseño studio. His work has been and remains a reference in Latin America and Spain.

Rubén was part of the Graphic Design degree’s founding group at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), into which he incorporated the teaching of typography and editorial design, and later on directed UBA’s Master’s programme in typeface design. He was the director and editor of tipoGráfica magazine during its twenty years of publication, and has received multiple awards, such as the 2020 TDC Medal for a lifetime of outstanding contributions in the field of typography.
