TypeTogether’s Primarium book released

Handwriting is taught in different ways around the world, but so far no one has collected this information in one accessible volume. After two years of extensive research across the Latin-based world, we are announcing the release of our book Primarium: Handwriting education across cultures and continents.

The core of the book features comprehensive analysis of handwriting instruction in 40 countries interspersed with a handful of essays about the benefits of handwriting, a short history of the Latin alphabet, and an introduction to the usefulness of TypeTogether’s free Playwrite font family for each of those countries. The Primarium book project was led by Linda Kudrnovská and is rendered in 360 beautiful pages, using Aneto and Belarius for text.
