Type is magic: Interview
French native Anne-Dauphine Borione, Ando for short, has been in the design world for about a decade now. Though mostly focused on graphic design and display typefaces, she won the Gerard Unger Scholarship in 2024 for her richly woven Dargon family, which includes text and display styles. Dargon stimulates our imagination and offers a wide range of future applications, from video games, board games, and trading cards to film titles, album covers, brands, and apps.
What has Ando learned this past year working with TypeTogether and what plans does she have for the future? Check out the interview linked below to get some behind-the-scenes info and a look at Dargon’s fantastical evolution.
