We are proud to announce the release of Nina Faulhaber’s first typeface, Aeroplan! Reimagined from the remnants of an abandoned font, Aeroplan has made old things new and is the winner of the 2021 Gerard Unger Scholarship. This specialty text typeface takes lessons from how it printed on the pages of a book and has updated them with digital clarity, an extensive and modern character set, and just enough aesthetic quirk to make readers want to keep reading. 

Aeroplan’s eight styles are created specifically for paragraphs, headings, and subheads, with the titling styles coming in the next couple months. Its nearly-connecting serifs in the italic styles are capable of setting paragraphs on their own.
