The Gestalten Verlag selected TypeTogether to feature in their recent release of Type Navigator: The Independent Foundries Handbook, edited by Jan Middendrop and TwoPoints.Net. Lecture at ADCV

The Association of Visual Communication Designers of Buenos Aires announced a lecture by José Scaglione on November 25. The talk, entitled Designing typefaces: from concept to reader, revisits the logics behind TypeTogether's conceptual take on type family production, and explores the delicate balance between aesthetics, functionality and technical factors that is necessary in type design.

CUSTOM TYPE
Jockey is here

Google commissioned the design of a new type family for it's webfonts project. Jockey is based on the lettering by an unknown Argentine artist who designed posters for horse race tracks in the 1930's. Out of a few upper case letterforms the TypeTogether team developed a full typeface that is now available for free at Google Webfonts.

Soleil's first hit!

Soleil's qualities as text face have been already put into practice in a beautiful book "Viel/Falten", with artworks by Fritz Ruprechter. The book's concept and design was co-authored by Walter Pamminger, design by Wolfgang Homola.
