Milo Radio spins with Trevor

September 2023

Trevor in use in the French digital radio station MiloRadio.com

If music were a font, what would chill and friendly look like? French DJ and producer Emile Omar believes it would look like an affable slab serif, which is why he chose Teo Tuominen’s Trevor typeface.

Omar shares his love for timeless music in the independent digital radio station Milo Radio. The website and other supporting material use the Trevor typeface in various ways throughout: from thin to bold and outlined, but always with a clear hierarchy of information and emphasis.

Trevor is a narrow, sturdy slab serif — both heavy and kind — arousing sympathy for the subject at hand. It connects with others by consciously riding the line between being personal and commanding, inky and rounded. Even as its slabs ride heavy on the baseline, Trevor is always easy on the eyes. Trevor seems built for music enthusiasts and smooth vibes just like Omar’s playlists.

Check out the vibes on Omar’s station, and feel the chill and friendly slab serif love bubble up again with Trevor.
