EXHIBITIONS: TypeTogether to open exhibition in Argentina
We are proud to announce that TypeTogether is opening its exhibition in Rosario, Argentina, on May 21st, 2008. The exhibition presents some of the best known typefaces that TypeTogether has released and a few font families that are still under development. It will also focus on the design process for text typefaces, from conception to reader.

The exhibition features typefaces designed by: Veronika Burian, José Scaglione, Eduardo Berliner, Bart Blubaugh, David Brezina, Pilar Cano and Nicolien van der Keur.

EXHIBITIONS: Tipos Latinos 2008
Three of our fonts have made it into the final selection of the Tipos Latinos 2008 Exhibition. A group of jurors from different latin american countries met up in Veracruz, Mexico, on March 13 and 14. They selected 76 projects out of 423 submissions in seven different categories. Bree, Karmina and Ronnia are among the 12 typefaces selected in the FONT FAMILIES category.

The first opening of the exhibit was in Buenos Aires on April 17. Veracruz (Mexico), Bogotá (Colombia), Asunción (Paraguay), Santiago (Chile) and São Paulo (Brazil) will open throughout April and May.

TYPE IN USE: Cora
The non-profit organisation Boulder Carshare, a local group promoting sustainable car use by sharing automobiles, chose Cora and Ronnia for their new promotional materials, such as fliers, postcards and advertising boards. Cora's clean and serious appearance perfectly communicates the maturity of the organisation. Ronnia on the other hand provides a warm and friendly feel that is part of community driven initiatives.

EDUCATION: Lectures and workshops 2008
Several workshops and lectures were confirmed for the first half of 2008. Here is a quick overview of the calendar:

From May 12 to May 16, José Scaglione will present three lectures and a workshop in Bogotá, Colombia. These activities are sponsored by two colombian universities and they are part of the Tipos Latinos 2008 event.

From May 23 to May 27, Veronika Burian and José Scaglione will be leading two workshops in Rosario and Santa Fe, Argentina. They will also present a lecture at CEC (Centro de Expresiones Contemporáneas) in Rosario, which is co-organized by T-Convoca. Veronika is scheduled to present two additional lectures on her visit to Argentina, one in Rosario and one in Santa Fe.

From June 18 to June 22, José Scaglione will be presenting two lectures at the 3rd Typography Congress in Valencia, Spain, one of these together with Andreu Balius.
