Eskilstuna-Kuriren is a local swedish newspaper in the berliner format published Monday to Saturday.

The newspaper consists of two sections, the first is the "hard" news part and the second is for sports, culture and family news. The publisher wanted the two parts to be different in their expressions. They chose Coranto 2 and LFT Etica for the political part of the newspaper, and Bree and Adelle for the other section. All four fonts serve their aim to have "...something that looks modern but still classic and is easy to use", very well and give the redesign a note of elegance mixed with seriosity.

interactionCoranto 2 is used for running texts and titles mixed with LFT Etica as subheadline. LFT Etica also functions as title font depending on the content of the article.

different typographic mixThe entertainment section uses deliberatly a different type mix; Bree for titles and subheadlines and Adelle for running texts. The alternate classic letterfroms of Bree come to play in parts where legibilty is a key factor.
